Preparing to take off:
1) Make sure the Throttle sticks and trimmer to the lowest position and drawing out the antenna of the controller completely.
2) Switch the controller ‘ON’ (LED on controller will flash once)Please push the Throttle stick on the controller fully forward and fully backward fast, which will arm the controller and connect to the helicopter. Then the Red indicator on the controller gets constant light.
3) Extend the blades separately or it may be entangle each other and cause blade breaking or burn out the motor.
4) Connect the battery and place the helicopter on a flat, make sure the tail pointing towards you and the nose facing away from you.
5) Switch the helicopter ‘ON’ (ON/OFF switch is on the left side of the fuselage, inside the canopy)
6) The Red LED light is kept on constantly, which indicates the helicopter is ready to fly.
Attention:
The helicopter can not work normally after connecting the power, the main problems are as follows :( Just for reference)
1. After turn on the controller, throttling lever has not been pulled to the lowest position.(the LED light is flash)
2. The battery of the controller has been used up.
3. The controller maybe broken.
4. The helicopter is out of power.
Operation:
1) Move the left lever(Throttle stick) slowly forwards – the main blades will start to spin
2) As you move the left lever past the halfway point, the helicopter will lift off.
3)When the Throttle stick is pushed up, the helicopter lifts up. (Very small adjustment are needed as controls are sensitive)
4)When the Throttle stick is pushed downward, the helicopter descends
5.) When the right joystick is moved to the left, the head of helicopter moves to the left. When the right joystick is moved to the right, the head of helicopter moves to the right.
6) When the right joystick is pushed up, the helicopter flies forward, while the right joystick is pushed downward, the helicopter fly backward.
Using the trim controls:
The Salvation 5 is fitted with three trim controls. These allow you to adjust the flight of the helicopter and remove any unwanted turning tendencies.
Trim 1: Located
right of left lever: Trim provides extra force to elevate helicopter. After fully charging the helicopter place trim to lowest position to dampen down lever. When battery begins to less power, push trim fully forwards for extra power.
Be ensure trim is returned to the lowest position before you begin to fly again, if too much power is transmitted to helicopter controller LED light will not turn ‘ON’
Trim2: Located
left of right joystick: Trim provides extra force to move helicopter forwards and backwards.
Trim3: Located
beneath Right joystick: Trim removes unwanted spinning after takeoff .If helicopter spins right move trim control to the left and vice versa. If helicopter continues to spin after adjusting trim fully left or right, please refer to ‘How to fine tune The Salvation 5’
Attention:
If there is a breakage or lot scratch on the main blades, which may impact the flying of the helicopter, please change it in time. Please pay attention to the main blades A and main blades B while replacing them, they should not be confounded.
Landing:
To land the helicopter slowly move the left lever backwards, before the helicopter touches the ground give the left lever a quick burst upwards to cushion landing.
Finishing the flight:
1. Pull the throttle stick to the lowest position
2. Turn off the helicopter and disconnect the battery with the helicopter
3. Turn off the controller.
4. Take out the controller battery from the controller if not fly with a long time.
